Ironsides Smells Blood

£32.99

Product description

"It was altogether a nasty evening on the Isle of Sheppey. A thick fog enshrouded the bungalow which Tony Marshall, a young medical student, used as his week-end cottage. Tony had driven down from town in the expectation of finding peace and quiet. There was nothing to show him so far that the absolute reverse was to be his lot - nothing, at least, until he saw the stranger leaning over his garden gate... And then things began to happen at break-neck speed. The popular Victor Gunn tells this latest adventure of Chief Inspector Bill Cromwell with his usual gusto. It is a fast-moving, wildly exciting and thoroughly enjoyable story."

The copy is in good condition for its age, complete with dust-jacket with tight binding and an unbroken spine. The jacket shows signs of wear such as colour-fading and a small rip on the spine. The cloth cover of the book is maroon, with silver titling stamped on the spine. There are a number of stamped and signed dates in the flap due to being an ex library copy. Although there is evidence of tanning and foxing on the page block, all interior pages are clean and unmarked.

A wonderful addition to any collection of vintage crime thrillers.
