£100.00

Product description

17th year of issue. Third edition. Edited by Fred T. Jane. Used hardback in fair condition. Externally protected by transparent plastic cover. Boards show wear to the edges with some fading to the front. Wear to the head and tail of the spine. Edges of the text block are browned and spotted. The cutaway fore edges are well thumbed. The book has been well used, with grubbiness and spotting (mostly light) throughout (mostly at the ends of the book) and many pages with dog eared corners. the book is annotated discretely in red ink indicating where ships have been sunk (British, French and German). There is a discrete previous owner's signature to the ffep, the title page and the rear paste down. The front hinge is cracked and there are several gutter breaks at the front of the book, most notably at the title page. The rear hinge is cracking but still intact. The binding is, however, intact overall. 505 pages with 111 pages of adverts etc.
