La Liturgie ou Formulaire des Prieres Publiques Selon l'usage L'Eglise Anglicane - Nouvelle Edition

£39.99

Product description

In French throughout. Bound in full leather but this is worn, particularly to the head and foot of the spine and the joints are split. Light browning throughout, occasionally heavier browning. Pages are browned at the edges at the front and rear from contact with the leather in the binding.

Published by Chez J. Nourse & P. Elmsley, dans le Strand, London, 1776

Condition report: front and back pastedowns and FEP have a marbling effect. Written on most of the FEP's by a previous owner. On front of leather cover is previous owner's name in gilt. Front and back hinges are loose. Writing on the spine is illegible. There appears to be a bit of damage on back cover. All edges corner bumped and edge worn to a large degree. Binding is intact but loose, string exposed in a few places. All internal pages are lightly tanned, as you would expect from a book of this age. All fore edges are dust marked.
