Product description

This is the second volume of the French translation, b/w throughout, and firmly bound. Pages are lightly browned with very occasional spotting. On front endpaper there is the bookplate of "Avvocato Francesco Carpi" and below his name neatly written in ink. The bottom 5 mm of Page 161/2 is missing, possibly torn or possibly a fault in the manufacture, but the text is complete. The brown leather binding has shelf wear commensurate with its age, and has some scratches front and rear. The front cover has a small piece missing approx 2 cm long and 2/3 mm wide in the bottom left corner. The embossed spine is rubbed, and has a small piece missing approx 1 cm long and 2 mm wide, and has gilt decoration and the words TOME II also in gilt. Dimensions of book 16 x 10 x 2 Cm. Altogether a very good copy of this rare book.
