Publisher: Cambridge printed at The University Press, MDCCCLII. Hardback, 640 pages. No dustjacket. Cover, in black decorative cloth with gilt titling to spine and gilt coat of arms to front, is in fair to good condition commensurate with age with bumping to corners and spine extremities, some tearing to top of spine and a two inch split to joint between spine cover and front at top and a half inch horizontal tear to spine cover just above title (however binding is not compromised). Internally the book is in decent condition commensurate with its age, with firm binding, clean pages and no marks, tears or inscriptions. Some pages still uncut at top and bottom. Light tanning throughout and a few light foxing spots on first few pages. Bookplate on front end paper. Overall, a decent and honest copy of a rare book.
