Chess Puzzle on preliminary pages.
Light Green cloth cover illustrated in Red & Black with Alice and Humpty Dumpty. Black Lettering & red Borders.
Black Title to spine and Black & Red Publisher's Monogram on the back cover. Frontispiece black and white Illustration of Alice with the Knight, protected by tissue guard.
208 Pages + Christmas Greetings & Publisher's adverts. 360g, 7 1/2" Tall.
Slight wear to top of spine, some bumping to corners. Pencil annotation to puzzle pages – ‘ To Mummy’ + faint pencil marks at edge, Also has blue ballpoint marking on picture at page 14.
Some signs of damp at front and rear pages, the binding is slightly loose at the front board.
The pages are generally in clear clean condition, with no spotting.
