This book is part of a 62 book collection, in fact, it is number 20 within the collection. George Goodchild was a very successful writer who produced over 200 pieces of literature during his 60 year career. This vast collection of books come under the genre mystery and detective fiction illustrating the adventures of Inspector McLean.

The red, hardback cloth cover is without dust jacket. However, the book is in very good condition with very little signs of shelf wear. Although, the front free end paper has been written by the previous owner but this does not subtract from the immaculate condition of this antiquarian novel.
