Griffin hardback with no DJ. Maroon cloth covered boards with embossed title and design on the front and gilt lettering to spine. Corners a little worn. Binding good. There is some yellowing of the end pages. Two fold out plates intact although one has been rather clumsily refolded so that the creases are irregular. No marks. Inserted slip in red "this book is supplied to the Trade on terms which will not allow of Discount to the Public". 25 illustrations.
