A charming story first published in the late 1800s. This copy is one of the Everyman Library for Young People series, a 1939 reprint of the 1912 edition. There are numerous line drawing illustrations throughout the story.

Mopsa the Fairy by Jean Ingelow, is about a boy who discovers a nest of fairies and discovers a fairyland while riding on the back of an albatross, was one of her most popular works

The cover has been protected by a plastic sleeve but does have a small amount of light wear and fading. The end papers are missing (see photograph). There are also a couple of small splits in the papers at the bindings, howevery the pages are in a good clean condition and the binding is secure.
