Mossy Green Theatre

£24.99

Product description

The story of Jane and her adventures with animals. Illustrated by Astrid Walford. 1950 reprint. Used hardback in poor condition. Much wear externally - corners bumped and worn; spine worn top and bottom and down sides, splitting down sides at top; drink stains to front and grubbiness to spine and rear board. Front board slightly bowed. Spotting to edges of text block. Internally, the front hinge is cracked, there is a gutter break at p80, but otherwise the binding is sound. There is a previous owner's signature on the front paste down and a name and address on the half title page. This page also has a small (1cm square) in it and is heavily spotted, as are the rear endpapers. There is sporadic light spotting throughout and some heavy staining between pages 72 and 80. A number of the top page corners have been turned down at some time. Some of the line drawn illustrations have been coloured in.
