An opportunity to acquire a limited edition of the poetical works by Dorothy Ratcliffe
A cream cloth book with faded gilt title and a gilt relief of a small child.
The boards are in good condition with minor scuffing at the edges; the board colour shows signs of fading through age and use.
Pages are tight and good condition with "rough cut" edging.
On the internal frontispiece there is an inscription by the author 1930 together with the announcement of the book being No 27 of 100 copies.
The book has b/w illustrations.
With regard to the final 2 pages of the book, the penultimate page is missing about 25% from the top. - The poem L'Envoi remains intact.The final page has been torn and there is a hand drawn illustration on the internal back-board.
This book normally retails at £50. Our price reflects condition and the continuing desirability of this rare copy
