Philonis Opera (four books; volumes one to seven)

£44.99

Product description

This set of four books incorporating volumes one to seven of Philonis Opera published in 1876 is written in Latin and Greek. The books vary in condition - more in terms of their covers and binding - than the pages within. Volume VII (one book) has a split spine and the front board is hanging on by a thread; the other three books containing the remaining volumes are in better shape, though show signs of wear and tear, viz: splitting to top and bottom edges, fading, ripping. The books are ex-library (Cambridge University) and bear the name of a previous owner in ink to the ffe. Pages are browning on outside edges except volume VII. A good set of books if you can understand Latin and Greek or are a collector.
