Publisher: Faber and Faber, London,1941. Hardback with unclipped dustjacket, 86 pages. Cover, in green boards, is in good condition with just slight bumping to spine extremities. Book itself is in good condition with tight binding and no markings other than a small crossed-out name inscription on front endpaper. Light tanning to pages and some slight, barely noticeable creasing to top edge of the first few pages. Dustjacket, black with silver titling, is in good condition, not price clipped and protected by clear plastic removable cover. It has a couple of small tears on top edge back and front with minimal loss and a one inch tear at bottom edge with a little loss, but overall a very presentable jacket. In summary, a decent, honest copy of this Louis Macneice first edition.
