Product description

Single volume contains parts I and II. Blue cloth binding retains good deep colour and crisp tooled gilt decoration, but does have water damage along full fore edge of front board and aproximately 1/4th of rear board. Boards are well attached to block and otherwise have only minor shelf wear. The block itself has not been water damaged and has crisp, flat, tightly bound pages throughout. End papers have dense foxing, but it's much lighter elsewhere with many pages being entirely clear. Many attactive engravings and plates. Tidy owner's ink inscription to ffep gifting the book, dated 1914, and a patch of ink splatter to the fore edge of block, but otherwise the pages are clean.
