Rulers of India - Lord Clive and the Establishment of the English in India

£9.99

Product description

Plain, dark-blue buckram covered boards with some scuff marks and light staining. The spine, which is a bit faded has the book details printed in white text. The top corners are a little bumped. The binding is in very good condition.

There is some foxing, mainly confined to the endpapers and page ends. There are no inscriptions or markings. The fold-out map pasted to the main title page is in very good condition except for a very small tear at the top where it is fixed to the page. Internally the text block is in remarkably good condition, and from the state of the binding it would appear that the later part of the book has rarely been opened.
