Illustrated with wood-cuts, many full-page, including tissue-guarded frontispiece. Pagination: vii + 216 pages including index, plus eight-page catalogue at rear.

Blue cloth binding with gilt lettering and illustration to front cover and spine and blind-stamped border decoration to rear cover; all page edges gilt, patterned endpapers.

Very good condition for a book of this considerable age: very light edge-wear to covers and spine with very light bumping to cover corners; gift inscription dated 1892 to front free endpaper, dealer sticker to rear pastedown endpaper; there is foxing and light soiling to page edges and foxing to many pages internally, otherwise text and illustrations remain clear throughout.

Our warehouse is situated in Winton, Bournemouth and is an online operation. Whilst not open to the public, we are happy to accept donations of saleable books, CD's, DVD's, vinyl, clothing and homeware.

Our online operation is powered by a team of hard-working volunteers (we're always looking for more help), sorting, valuing and listing on our online shop and Amazon.

We also offer books by the yard / metre / foot for set dressing  films, TV, theme pubs, bars and art projects. We can supply all types of books, starting at £8 per metre. We can even theme to your needs by subject, hardback, paperback, colour or date. Obviously the more specific, the more lead time is required. We may be able to offer local delivery.
