Blue cloth binding with gilt lettering and illustrations to front cover and spine and blind-stamped decoration to rear cover, bevel-edged boards; all page edges gilt.

This book is in fair condition with many loose pages and page signatures (pages iii-vi, 35-46, 49-80, 81-96, 131-142 and 147-158), light edge-wear to covers and spine with light bumping to cover corners and light denting to front cover edges, light slanting to spine; cracking to front hinge, 1.5cm x 0.5cm internal open tear to front pastedown endpaper exposing board material, tissue guard to frontispiece starting to detach, plate to page 37 mis-bound as frontispiece, pages 4 to 12 starting to detach, tissue guard to page 65 plate starting to detach, cracking between pages 256 and 257; light foxing to many pages, mainly to edges/margins, light partial tanning and gift inscription dated 1884 to title page, binder's sticker to rear pastedown endpaper, moderate staining/soiling to binding where pages have become detached and staining where binding staples have oxidised, but all pages present and generally clean internally with clear text and illustrations throughout.

Our warehouse is situated in Winton, Bournemouth and is an online operation. Whilst not open to the public, we are happy to accept donations of saleable books, CD's, DVD's, vinyl, clothing and homeware.

Our online operation is powered by a team of hard-working volunteers (we're always looking for more help), sorting, valuing and listing on our online shop and Amazon.

We also offer books by the yard / metre / foot for set dressing  films, TV, theme pubs, bars and art projects. We can supply all types of books, starting at £8 per metre. We can even theme to your needs by subject, hardback, paperback, colour or date. Obviously the more specific, the more lead time is required. We may be able to offer local delivery.
