Product description

Large book with red cloth covered boards. The title in blind embossed on the front as "Textbook For Small Arms" in error. A previous owner has crossed out the "For" and written "Of" in black ink. The same error is evident on the spine but remains uncorrected.

Considerable shelf wear, especially around the spine, which is almost detached. The cloth is worn on all edges and the board exposed. The corners are bumped.

Both hinges are very loose but the boards are still attached, the main binding is in reasonable order.

There is a red stamp of the Research Department Woolwich on the front pastedown, ffe and other pages.

Inscription on the ffe. Text block clean and tidy, no foxing.

Good reading / research copy.
