The Annals of Hampstead (3 Volumes, Limited Signed Edition)

£440.00

Product description

Three volumes, comprising of 306pp, 299pp and 409pp. Printed as a limited edition of 550, and has been signed by the author. Condition of each volume is very consistent. Pages are in fine condition throughout, being crisp, clean and bright. There are many engravings, full page plates (a few in colour) and some tipped in plates. Even the tissue guards are perfect. End papers foxed, but the rest of the pages remain clear. Blocks are tightly bound together and have gilt applied to all three exposed edges, with just a few minor marks to each volume. Fold out maps in excellent, crisp condition. The removable map in volume two is also excellent. All volume's bindings have light shelf wear to edges, and some minor scuffs. Volume two has a couple of moderate scuffs to the front board. Overall however they have been well looked after. Tooled gilt decorations are crisp and bright. The blue cloth is vivid and without any fading or soiling, and they are nice and square.
