Published in 1933 this small hardback volume formed part of the Sir Isaac Pitman & Sons Technical Books series. The foreword notes ' This book being primarily intended for the non-technical, Mr Brie uses throughout very simple language and examples, and , in order to make his work more definite and practical, he refers everything to a particular type of Autogiro, the C.19 Mark 1V, which is at present the most widely used in this country.' The text is accompanied by 33 illustrations.

There is no dust jacket and the volume is cocked. The spine is bumped at the top and base. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded. Internally all pages are present, clean and tight to the spine. There is some spotting to the page edges. Overall the volume is in very good condition.
