Being one hundred political and social cartoons selected from the best of his Evening Standard work by Low. Each cartoonis accompanied by explanatory comments. Covering the period October 12th 1927 to June 26th 1930. Used hardback in fair condition. No d/j. Boards worn, bumped and grubby. Surface tape on spine split on both sides more or less from top to bottom (but not affecting the integrity binding). Edges of the text block spotted (at the top) and darkened. Spine slightly cocked. Internally the book is generally clean throughout, with modest darkening throughout . There is a small bookseller's sticker on the front pastedown (F.A.Wood, Oxford). There is a split between the front board and the text block, which does not appear to affect the integrity of the binding, which is otherwise good. Page 11 is nearly detached.
