Product description

This is a very large heavy book with blue pictorial cover with title in gilt. Much shelf wear around edges, particularly the spine where there are tears and ragged edges, the corners are also worn bumped. Front board and first few pages are loose, the pastedown torn but it is still connected to the binding. The rear board is loose for about half its length. The binding is loose but generally in reasonable condition for a book of this age and weight. Foxing is not a generally a problem but there are some areas that suffer.

There is a small blue bookseller sticker in the bottom left hand corner of the front pastedown and an inscription on the plain side of the frontispiece. Overall this item is in fair condition for its age.
