The Cambrian Tourist or Post-Chaise Companion Through Wales - 1821

£65.00

Product description

A copy of the Cambrian Tourist or Post-Chaise Companion Through Wales containing cursory sketches of The Welsh Territories and a description of the manners, customs and games of the natives - with charts. This is the fifth edition of this book published in 1821 for Edwards & Knibb, Poole & Harding, Painter, Carnes, Lewis and Washbourn & Son by Thomas Davison and the author is quoted as wishing to remain anonymous. The board covers of this book are marked and worn and the front board is almost detached from the rest of the book. There is some foxing and staining to the internal pages of this book but the printing is clear and legible. The pages of the book appear to be unevenly cut in that they are slightly different lengths at the bottom.
