Publisher: Cassell and Company Limited, London, Paris, New York & Melbourne, 1906. Hardback, 610 pages, sumptuously illustrated with full page illustrations in colour and black and white. Cover, in brown cloth boards with gilt titling to front and spine and gilt illustration to front, is in good condition with just some minor bumping to top and bottom of spine and corners, some light shelf wear to lower edges and a couple of small marks to front. Book itself is in good condition with firm binding, some light foxing marks throughout (illustration pages not affected) and to page block edges, but no tears. Some slight creasing to flyleaf and also to last page of text. Neat leather birthday presentation book plate on front paste down with date of November 21st 1908 (see photo). A good, sound copy of this lovely and sumptuously illustrated Bible with clear text and full page illustrations.
