Iliffe & Sons, London, undated (1937?), hardback, no dust jacket, 12mo, pp vi + 260 + xxii (adverts), B&W illustrations within the text.
Issued by The Amateur Photographer magazine, this book gives guidance on amateur cinematography from basic principles of 9.5mm movie making through the selection of equipment and film, to taking, developing, editing and showing movies. Index and 22 pages of adverts to rear.
Good+ condition. Green cloth boards show some bumping to the bottom corners and are a little grubby along the lower edge but are otherwise reasonably clean and undamaged. Other than some random marks on the contents page, apparently from a silver pen, the interior is clean and the binding sound.
