Product description

The Complete Works of Alfred Lord Tennyson

This is a hardback book with leather-effect covering and gold lettering. There are 900 pages plus contents, etc.

The boards are sound, but have been subject to water damage, which shows particularly on the spine which is largely discoloured. The covering has come away from he board at the front board right-lower corner (approx 15mm x 15mm, no loss of paper) and on the back (approx 60mm x 40mm, no loss of paper). The very top of the spine is worn.

The front endpapers show water-damage discolouration and the rear endpapers show very slight foxing.

The rest of the pages are in truly excellent condition, with no signs of damage or discolouration. The binding, too, is excellent. The cut edges of the pages are gold-coloured and this is in very good condition.

The title page has a hand-written inscription.

There is a contents and an index.

Approx. 130mm x 185mm.

Inspection of the images supplied is recommended.
