Bound in red cloth boards with elaborate gilt decoration on front cover, title on spine in gilt and blind-stamped back cover.

Both ends of spine and corners of cover are worn.

Dedication in ink on fep.

Foxing, particularly at either end of the book but also on a few pages inside.

The spine has split down its length internally at the front of the book but the pages remain secure to the binding.

There is a gold silk marker which has frayed badly towards the bottom.

Internally clean and unmarked.
