Good condition for a second-hand book: light wear to covers and spine with light bumping to cover corners and spine ends, light bowing to front cover along fore edge, spine sunned and lettering faded, light markings to covers; bottom and fore edge of pages rough-cut, colour plate facing page 37 starting to detach; inscription to front free endpaper, light foxing to page edges, front flyleaf, title and contents pages, frontispiece, rear endpapers, page 105 and plate facing page 104, light tanning to page edges and front free endpaper with light soiling to top edge of pages, occasional foxing elsewhere internally, otherwise internally fine given age of book.

Oxfam Distribution Centre Bournemouth

Here at the B.D.C. we source goods for stores in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Avon area, by house collections and clearances, corporate and personal donations as well as emptying numerous textile and book banks in the area. We have been awarded the "Best National Oxfam On-Line Store" for 2009/10. All of our items have been listed by volunteers who have done a fantastic job, and we are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our on-line operation. We are not open to the public.
