Publisher: The Girls Own Paper Office, London, c 1930. Hardback, 288 pages, green cloth binding with gilt titling to spine. Colour frontispiece and further full page plates in colour and b&w and many b&w drawings in the text. No dustjacket. Cover, in green cloth boards with gilt titling to spine and embossed titling to front, is in decent and sound condition commensurate with age with some shelfwear to edges , bumping to spine extremities, small tear at foot of spine, a few marks and a small area of fading to front . Internally the book is in good, clean and tight condition with clear text pages and illustrations and no tears, inscriptions, creases or significant marks. Light tanning to pages commensurate with age and some light foxing to the pictorial endpapers and here and there throughout. A lovely period-piece annual for girls from the late 1920s/early 30s with highly evocative full page illustrations and sketches within the text.
