The Great Historic Families of Scotland: Volumes I and II

£29.99

Product description

This two set volume was written by James Taylor and published by J S Virtue & Co in 1890. The books give sketches of the representatives and leading members of the great historical families of Scotland, but does not discuss difficult or disputed genealogical questions. Some of the families covered are: The Angus Douglases; The Keiths; The Setons; The Campbells of Argyll; The Leslies of Rothes and many more. The first volume is in good condition but the outside edges of pages are quite dirty. The hardback cover is bumped to corners and rubbed to spine edges. Volume two is in poor condition insofar as the pages are moving away from the spine, which shows more wear and tear to top edges. An interesting set of books if you enjoy Scottish family history.
