The History of England from the Invasion of Julius Caesar to the Revolution in 1688

£60.00

Product description

Complete in two volumes. Bound in cloth and quarter leather and illustrated with several engravings. The date of publication is not stated but is probably the 1815 edition.

Condition: The front cover of Volume II is present but detached; in spite of this the bindings of both books are sound. The covers to both volumes exhibit fairly heavy shelf wear in terms of staining, soiling, abrasion and corners bumped through to the boards. Both fly leaves have a written dedication but are otherwise free of markings. Occasional foxing to textblocks.
