The King's Regulations for the Army and the Royal Army Reserve 1940

£50.00

Product description

HMSO, 1941.
Paper covers; 145 x 220 mm; xxvi & 807 pages.
The book is in good condition. The binding is sound. There is an oval stamp “SOLD BY” at the top of the front cover, repeated at the top of the title page. The pages and edges are age discoloured bearing in mind also the quality of the paper used. The pages are otherwise clean. The initial circa 200 pages have some bending, top right, so that the early pages are effectively dog-eared. The bottom of page 303/304 is dog-eared. There is some creasing of the fore edge of the back cover. The covers generally show the sort of wear to be expected bearing in mind the age of the book but there are no tears.
The book will be of interest to anyone looking at, or wishing to know about the organisation, and legal matters relating to the conduct of the British Army in the early years of World War II.
