The Life of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by Rev. J. Fleetwood, containing Family Register

£44.99

Product description

The Life of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, containing an accurate and universal history of the Glorious Redeemer, from His Birth to His Ascension into Heaven, together with the Lives and Sufferings of His Holy Evangelists, Apostles, and Disciples, who have sealed the divine truths of Christianity with their blood, to which is added, a full Defence of Christianity against the objections of atheists, deists, and infidels, with improvements, embellished with engravings; Together with The Evidences of Christianity Religion.

Printed by Thomas Kelly, London, in 1850. This edition, measuring 11" by 9", is finished in brown with gold bordering and is printed in double columns, with 61 full-page illustrations, marbled end-papers and page edges.

What is unique with this edition is the fact it comes as a Family Register with original entries dated between 1806 and 1897. Whilst the Spine has the title "Life Of Christ" embossed on it, "Family Register" is printed on the face of the Hard Cover.
The front and back face of the Hard Cover has slight damage and some wear and the first few leaves have damp stains but the binding and the condition of the printed pages are in very good condition, especially for an edition nearly 170 years old.
