This copy of Scott's epic poem comes in a blue hard cover with gilt titles and emblems on the front coveer and gilt lettering on the spine. The top of th spine is torn and a piece flaps but is still attached on one side. The plain rear cover is grubby. Internally there a several pages of tissue paper which are foxed and whilst pages have slightlt yellowed all text is very clear and legible. Inside tge front cover are 2 [penned names with dates of 1872 and 1893 and the insides of te covers are also foxed. Page ends are gilt
