A selection of recipes for children with pictures by the Enid Blyton illustrator including kitchen hints, marshmallow krispies, biscuits, cornflake kisses, nut nibbles, flatjack crackles, raisin fingers, walnut bars, chocolate truffle cakes, butterfly cakes, chocolate nut cake, marble cake, butter icing, ginger crunch fluff, baked apples, pear meringues, chocolate sauce, harlequin jam tart, potatoes in their skins, baked potato surprise, noodle savoury munch and a giant sausage roll. Cooking temperatures are in Fahrenheit and measurements in imperial.

Published in 1974 the book condition can best be described as well loved. The hard cover has creases to the edges, corners and spine and has multiple scratch marks as if the book has been leaned on when writing and some small ink marks. All pages are in tact however there are marks throughout from both cooking stains and a child writing on some of the pages in purple felt tip pen (this doesn't make the text ineligible, can be seen in the second photo. Pages alternate colour illustrations and black and white illustrations on a coloured background throughout.
