True first UK edition, first printing (first impression) with 'First Published in Great Britain in 1963' on the copyright page and no reprints stated. Cover, in blue cloth boards with silver titling and red baseball design to spine, is in good to very good condition with some slight bumping to top and bottom of spine and a little fading and trace of shelfwear to top edges. Internally, the book is in very good, clean condition with firm binding and no inscriptions, tears, significant marks or creases. Very light tanning to pages commensurate with age and tanning to top of page block. The dustjacket, which is not price-clipped (and states 'Price in UK 21s net'), is in good condition with very slight shelfwear to bottom edges, some tanning around edges of back and along edge of flap folds and some light marks to top of spine. Overall, a good, sound and clean UK first edition copy of this important 20th century novel in a good unclipped dustjacket.
