The People's Magazine, an Illustrated Miscellany for Family Reading, 3 volumes from 1869 and 1870

£24.99

Product description

Three bound volumes of The People's Magazine, for Jan to June 1869, Jan to June 1870 and July to December 1870.

Three hard back books. No dust jackets. The covers are in fair to good condition with scuff marks, rubbing along the edges, bumping to the corners, tears along the spines and general fading. The logo of The People's Magazine is clear on each front cover.

Inside, the front page of each book is clipped on the upper corner. There are some places where the binding is a little loose and in the second volume (Jan to June 1870) pages 185 to 190 are loose and pages 179 to 184 are missing. In various places in the first and second books, there are pages attached with copies of images from front pieces that have been removed (pictured). Generally, though, the pages are all in good to very good condition considering their age, and each book has a contents page at the front.
