Publisher: George Routledge and Sons Limited, undated circa 1870. Hard cover no dust jacket. 360 pages. The red cloth illustrated cover has black titling. The cover is faded and discoloured in places with bumped and frayed corners and marks on the back. The spine is frayed at top and bottom but intact and the binding is firm. The pages have some foxing and tanning but are all readable, pages 205 to 229 have small creases at the corner and pages 261 to 274 have a small piece torn and missing at the bottom corner. There is a neat inscription on the first page.
