The Pilgrim's Progress

£14.99

Product description

The book is in fair condition. The exterior is a board, half-bound marble with a gilt decorated spine that has raised five bands. There is age-related wear throughout the binding, with what seems to be pen grooves over the marbling. The edges of the binding are chipped in places, but it is mostly just worn. There is some colouring on the edges of the pages, but it has been worn. Both of the front and rear endpapers are marbled. The interior is foxed with some mild age-related stains. The text is wholly readable and is in a larger size than average. The binding is solid and tight. Throughout the book there are black-and-white illustrations to depict the various events that happen during this allegory classic.

This book is thought to be mid-to-late 19th century, and despite the wear, the content of the book has kept well.
