Two long poems with a biographical and critical introduction by Allan Cunningham and 48 illustrations, drawn and engraved by Samuel Williams.
The condition is fair for its age. The maroon leather binding with gilt lettering and decoration is worn and scuffed around the edges, corners and spine (see photo). The end papers are good, there is a pencil list of text references at the front and some smudgy marks at the back. The first page and the title page have ink lines and the title page also has an ink blot. The gilt edges pages are very good and clean.
