1926 reprint of 1903 first pocket edition, published by Macmillan and Co. With decorations by J Lockwood Kipling.

Attractive blue cover with gilt decoration and spine lettering.

The Second Jungle Book is a sequel to The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. First published in 1895, it features five stories about Mowgli and three unrelated stories, all but one set in India, most of which Kipling wrote while living in Vermont. All of the stories were previously published in magazines in 1894-5. Each of the eight stories is followed by a poem.

In good clean condition throughout. Light rubbing wear to the edges of the spine, a former owner's name is written on the inside of the cover. The last 4 pages (still present have become detached from the binding, the rest of the binding does appear sound.
