Published c1905 by Collins. Red cloth bound hard covers with red, black and yellow illustrated front board and spine the latter of which has the title in red on a gilt tablet. All extremities show shelf wear consistent with the age of the book. The illustration to the front has been worn (see image). All pages are sunned but mainly clean with occasional foxing and browned edges and remain tightly bound. The final page and rear free end page top corner show signs of possible book worm at some point. Gift inscription to the front free end page dated 1907. Colour illustrations by Richard Tod.
