£39.99

Product description

Sub title "and other under-water inventions ...with 28 illustrations."
A popular and cheaper edition of Corbin's larger book "The Romance of Submarine Engineering".
Seeley hardback with no DJ. Picture of divers ascending on the front and of a submarine on the spine. A little wear to top and bottom of spine. Moderate corner and edge wear. The front end pages are missing and with them the frontispiece "The eye of a Submarine Boat". The binding here is sprung but still functional. The remaining black and white pictures are all present although the one opposite p 126 is somewhat loose and its front edge has become a bit irregular because it has protruded from the rest of the text block.
