Product description

Publisher: Collins' Clear-type Press, c 1910. Hardback, 238 pages plus publisher's adverts. Colour frontispiece and title page plus other colour plates in the text. Colour pictorial endpapers. No dustjacket. Cover, in dark blue cloth boards with gilt titling to spine and front and pictorial illustration to front and spine and black design to front, is in fair condition commensurate with age. Some fading to back cover and spine and a couple of fading spots to front. Bumping to corners and spine extremities. Internally the book is in fair condition for its age with some tanning / foxing throughout. Lovely colour illustrations, especially to title page and beautiful colour illustrated endpapers. There is a spilt along binding at rear endpaper exposing the webbing and loosening the joint. Ditto at front endpaper but to much lesser extent and joint considerably firmer. A charming children's book with attractive cover and lovely colour illustrations.
