Tony a Sketch by Florence Montgomery 1898, Being the account of a little incident on a short Railway journey.
Publisher: Richard Bentley and Son, London. Hardback, 105 pages. Probable 1st edition. Size is approx 15 cms x 9 cms. Cover, in green cloth boards with gilt decoration and titling, is in decent condition commensurate with its age, some slight bumping at top and bottom of spine, small tear at bottom of spine, slight bowing to front and back boards and small area of rubbing to back. Book itself is in fair condition for its age, with some foxing to front and rear endpapers and two inscriptions on front endpapers (one dated 1898 and the other 1975). Binding is reasonably firm with no loose pages, slight separation of binding between pages 12 and 13 but not very noticeable and pages are secure.
