Under Wellington's Command A Tale of the Peninsular War

£6.99

Product description

This book includes on the front pastedown, a label stuck to it that dates this edition to around 1910. The label is from a church Sunday School, presenting the book to a previous owner. Along with foxing within the book, the label has left a mark on the page opposite. The binding is still firm, and the text looks to be clear and readable. There are a number of monochrome illustrations. There is also minor damage to the head of the spine. The cover is bound in red cloth with an illustration on the cover and spine.

A continuation of the book With Moore in Corunna, this novel tells us the tale of the Peninsular war. The book takes us up to the battle of Salamanca, and seeks to conclude the history of Terence O'Connor. A preface has been included at the start for those who may not have read the previous book.
