This book vividly describes the Engadine region in the Swiss Alps. The paintings are stunning and contain some of the best views in the Alps, such as the Matterhorn and the Morteratsch glacier.

Gift inscription to a former owner written on front page, and there is a book plate attached to the inside of the cover.

In fair condition. Three of the paintings are loose. Tears and damage to the front free end-paper. Foxing throughout, however the paintings are mostly unaffected. The hardcover is in good condition with only small general wear. The spine is faded/discoloured and there is a small tear along the spine's back hinge.
