Whitaker's Almanack - 1946

£14.99

Product description

Blue Leather bound softback edition.

Text in fairly good condition, yellowed round the edges due to economy standards at the time of publication. Although the book is yellowed throughout, it isn't too bad in terms of yellow spotting, except for the inside covers, end pages and maps. Main fault with this item is the front hinge which has come loose -see photos- and the split down the front edge of the spine -see photos. Because of this, this book has to be listed as acceptable-poor.

This book was originally edged with gold, which is still visible on the top side of the text edging, but has faded to a dark blue on the side and bottom.

There are a number of colour maps at the end of the book, depicting the political boundaries of the time. There is a fold-out world map featured above in the photos.
