Dark yellow cloth binding with black lettering to spine; dust-jacket illustrated in colour.

Good condition for a second-hand book: dust-jacket is edge-worn with chipped spine ends and flap folds, 1.2cm closed tear and creasing to rear top edge, light foxing to jacket reverse, rear and flaps; slanting to spine; 0.3cm closed tear and creasing to page 69/70 bottom edge, 1.5cm closed tear to page 137/138 and page 242/242 bottom edge, cracking between pages 188 and 189, all pages remain intact; light foxing to page edges, endpapers, title and contents pages, occasional foxing/soiling internally to other pages, otherwise internally fine given age of book.

Here at the B.D.C. we source goods for stores in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Avon area, by house collections and clearances, corporate and personal donations as well as emptying numerous textile and book banks in the area. We have been awarded the "Best National Oxfam On-Line Store" for 2009/10. All of our items have been listed by volunteers who have done a fantastic job, and we are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our on-line operation. We are not open to the public.
