1913 Des Sommer Des Jahrhunderts - 1913 The Summer Of The Century

£8.99

Product description

GERMAN LANGUAGE EDITION

The book gives an excellent idea of the cultural life (artists, poets, musicians ) in Vienna, Berlin and Munich in 1913. You need to know the artistic movements e.g. Der Blaue Reiter and what is meant by Futurism and Cubism and it helps to have some idea of the poems written by Rilke, George and the short stories of Kafka. The book is very enjoyable and well written if you are familiar with the cultural scene of 1913 in the German speaking countries.

Excellent pages, a little edge and d/j wear.
